Ali Ahmadinia received his Ph.D. degree from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, in 2006. In 2004-2005, he worked as a research associate in Electronic Imaging Group, Fraunhofer Institute - Integrated Circuits (IIS), Erlangen, Germany. In 2006-2008, he was a research fellow in the School of Engineering and Electronics, University of Edinburgh, UK. In 2008, he joined Glasgow Caledonian University, UK, where he was a senior lecturer in embedded systems. He is currently an associate professor in Department of Computer Science at California State University San Marcos, US. His research has resulted more than 100 international journal and conference publications in the areas of recongurable computing, system-on-chip, network-on-chip, and internet-of-things.
