I came to CSUSM in August 2015. Previously, I spent 3 years at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), prior to that I completed my PhD at SUNY University at Buffalo.

My research is in experimental solid state physics. Current research topics include:

  • Silicon quantum dots and their potential use in quantum information science.
  • Silicon quantum dots/single electron transistors and their use in metrology (the science of measurement).
  • Nanocrystaline thin films
